Relocation Announcement

Due to a change in my primary career, I will be located in Saskatoon as of Jan. 1, 2012.  As always, I will still do repairs for those not located in my area.  Please see the FAQ or contact me for more information.  

iPhone 4 displays and back covers in various colours

Not in Saskatoon?

If you don't reside in Saskatoon and need your phone fixed, the Saskatchewan Transportation Company (STC) offers quick and reliable parcel delivery for under $10 each way.  As long as you have an STC bus depot near by, first contact me for your estimate, then safely package up your phone in its original or a similar, cushioned box (with its battery outside the phone, if possible) and drop it off at the depot with my name and phone number (provided with the estimate).  It usually takes one day to ship, so you should receive your phone fixed and ready to go within 3 or 4 days (return shipping is free for orders that are $60 or more)!  The required payment using this method is money order or PayPal.  Please contact me for more information.

Some of my most popular services have gone down in price and are now $70.  This includes the following:

As always, I offer the most popular repairs within 24-hours, but for many others, I am pleased to announce that I can complete these repairs within 3 business days.  Some of these services include the following:

• Blackberry Storm 2 9550 LCD/digitizer replacement: $100
• Blackberry Torch 9800 display assembly replacement: $140

Wholesale Price Rebates

Are you a dealer or someone who would like to use my services many times in one month and are looking for a wholesale price?  Please contact me for more information regarding rebates I will be offering to those who use my services multiple times in one month.  Generally, I will offer a rebate every calendar month based on how many services you directly purchase within that month.  For at least 5 services in one month, you will receive a 10% rebate on the total cost of those services.  When the amount of services in one month reaches 10, you will receive a 20% rebate!

Business is Back to Normal

Canada Post workers are now back to sorting and delivering mail which means business is back to normal here at Forsberg Mobile.  I will be pleased to help you the best I can with your mobile phone issues.

Canada Post Labour Action

The union representing Canada Post workers has served notice to strike and may be on the picket lines as soon as Friday, June 6.  To keep prices low, many of the parts I use for my repair services are ordered on demand so if  Canada Post workers do strike, this could mean either delays in receiving ordered parts or slightly higher prices for using alternative shipping methods.  I'll do my best to not let the labour action effect services at Forsberg Mobile, and no matter what happens, business will carry on.  As usual though, I do have small stocks of parts for popular repair services on hand.  Thank you for your patience.

I am now offering a new service that will make your Blackberry look brand new, whether you are wanting to increase its value before putting it up for sale or you just want to renew it to its original beauty.  Most models have many colour options to choose from.  Prices vary from $50 to $80.  iPhone back cover replacement is also available for $120 for iPhone 3G and 3GS (includes a new battery) and $40 for the iPhone 4.

I am happy to announce that the price to replace the glass/digitizer for iPhone 3GS has gone down in price to $60.  As usual, a better price from the suppliers means a better price for my customers!

Update: iPhone 4 Display Replacement Price Drop

The cost to replace the iPhone 4 display assembly has finally come down in price and is now only $140.  That is the price to replace the entire display assembly including the glass/digitizer, LCD and frame, which must be replaced together due to the iPhone 4's frustratingly-unique design.

Blackberry Unlocking

I am happy to announce that I can now unlock your Blackberry to work with any GSM or 3G carrier, if your phone supports it.  All I need is the $20 cost and your IMEI number and I can usually have your phone unlocked within 24 hours.  Contact me for more information.
